The Information Management Officer (IMO)

Duty Station: Remote

Duration: 12 months

Reports to: Head of Program Development and Partnerships

Location of Activities: Remote (with optional field visits to project locations)

Background

Team4UA is a Ukrainian charitable organization founded in March 2022 with extensive experience in emergency response, recovery, and innovative reconstruction. We implement humanitarian, recovery, and development interventions across Ukraine through national and local partners, and actively participate in consortia and coordination platforms.

Purpose of the role

The Information Management Officer (IMO) reports to the Head of Program Development and Partnerships and is responsible for:

  • ensuring program design and implementation are driven by timely, high-quality evidence (needs assessments, gap analyses);
  • creating and maintaining organized, up-to-date work documentation and tools for internal and external processes;
  • supporting program development and partnership processes, including quality and compliance control.

Key responsibilities

Data collection and evidence-based programming

  • Manage end-to-end primary data collection, including design and facilitation of interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with beneficiaries, authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze data and produce quality needs assessments, gap analyses, and similar documents.
  • Ensure program design and implementation are continuously informed by evidence-based information.

Documentation and partnership management

  • Develop, maintain, and organize internal and external documentation: templates, SOPs, and tools.
  • Organize and support due diligence, capacity, and risk assessments of partners.
  • Facilitate Team4UA’s own assessments conducted by donors and lead partners.

Program development and departmental support

  • Perform program development and partnership functions as needed.
  • Support the daily operations of the Program Development and Partnerships department.
  • Cover colleagues’ functions during leave and transition periods.

Compliance and confidentiality

  • Handle all work documentation with strict confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Adhere to internal procedures and humanitarian standards throughout all assignments.

Key deliverables

  • Timely, quality needs assessment reports.
  • Documented and operational partner assessment system.
  • High-quality project proposals and concept notes.
  • Standardized, reproducible workflows.

Requirements

Education: University degree in Information Technologies, Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in information management, program/project development or management, M&E, partnerships, or related roles.
  • Proven experience in data collection and analysis.
  • Prior experience in humanitarian, NGO, or international organizations is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and deadline management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to organizational procedures.
  • Confident MS Office user; specialized data analysis software is an advantage.

Languages: Ukrainian — fluent; English — fluent (C1).
