Team4UA’s mobile teams have begun operations in the Lviv region

Last month, the mobile team of the Team4UA Foundation began its work in the Lviv region. The focus is on ensuring access to basic services in temporary accommodation sites for IDPs, providing an individual approach to people’s needs, and supporting members of the most vulnerable and less mobile population groups.

The team consists of a case management officer, a psychosocial support (PSS) officer, and two social workers. Currently, the team is working in various communities across the Lviv region, including Drohobych, Sambir, Dobromyl, and Komariv. In the future, the activities will be expanded to other communities in the region.

The work includes case management, psychosocial support, home-based care services for people with reduced mobility and persons with disabilities, as well as referrals to specialized services and partner organizations.

The Lviv region  is often perceived as a more stable region; however, there is still a shortage of humanitarian services due to the limited presence of international organizations. The most pressing needs remain financial assistance, social transportation, case management, and care services, as a significant proportion of people in temporary accommodation sites are older persons and persons with disabilities

Within the ACCESS project, the Team4UA Foundation is also implementing renovations of temporary accommodation sites in the Lviv and Rivne regions, as well as supporting them through mobile team services.

Our partners – the NGO “Integration Center” in Rivne and the NGO “Ptakha” in Lviv – also operate mobile teams. They meet evacuated people at railway stations and provide initial support upon arrival.
