We are sharing touching moments of a family reunion from Druzhkivka, Donetsk region.
Druzhkivka is a frontline city where living conditions have gradually become more difficult: limited electricity supply, disruptions in access to basic goods, and constant security risks. As a result, more and more people are forced to leave their homes.
In these conditions, Mykola remained in the city, while his wife, Valentyna, had earlier evacuated to Berezne (Rivne region), where her relatives live. The couple had not seen each other for several months.
As the situation worsened, the family reached out to the hotline of the NGO “Center of Integration” for support in organizing their reunification.
In March, a mobile team of the NGO “Center of Integration,” a partner of the TERA Consortium, helped organize Mykola’s evacuation from Druzhkivka (Donetsk region) to the Rivne region.
Through coordinated efforts, the route was arranged from Donetsk region to Rivne. Teams on the ground supported the process and ensured logistics at every stage.
❕This work is carried out within the TERA Consortium, supported by the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF). The TERA Consortium was established by the Team4UA Foundation to coordinate assistance and strengthen support for people forced to flee their homes.
