Evacuating people from frontline areas is a complex process that requires not only rapid decision-making but also appropriate medical support. A significant proportion of evacuees are older people, persons with disabilities, and people with limited mobility who require specialised assistance during transportation.
As part of the new EASE 2.0 (Emergency Assistance and Support to Evacuation) project, the TERA Consortium is launching cooperation with Mission Kharkiv, strengthening the medical component of our work.
The project covers 16 regions of Ukraine and combines evacuation, cash assistance, protection, psychosocial support, medical transportation, legal assistance, child protection, and emergency shelter repairs. It is implemented by the TERA Consortium, whose members are The Tenth of April, Posmishka UA, and Goodwill Charitable Foundation, with Mission Kharkiv and Philanthropy in Ukraine joining the project as partners.
Mission Kharkiv is a Ukrainian humanitarian organisation founded in 2022. Today, its team operates in more than 20 regions of Ukraine, delivering medical and humanitarian assistance while developing long-term solutions in the healthcare sector.

As part of the project, Mission Kharkiv will provide:
Specialised medical transportation
- Safe evacuation for people with limited mobility, older people, and patients requiring medical support during transportation.
- Support to healthcare facilities
- Delivery of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment to hospitals receiving evacuees.
- First aid training
- Practical training sessions for volunteers, social workers, and community members.
Together, we are strengthening a comprehensive approach to evacuation to ensure that people requiring medical support can safely complete the entire journey – from evacuation out of frontline areas to receiving the assistance they need in host communities.
This activity is implemented within the framework of the TERA Consortium with financial support from the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF). The TERA Consortium was established by the Team4UA Charitable Foundation.
